Adobe Flash Catalyst
If you work with Flash a long time you know how ActionScript has become complicated lately. This is not to complicate the lives of designers who cross the threshold of the development world, but to produce a platform that uses better code in order to obtain better results.
Of course the downside is that if you're not an experienced developer, the code becomes very complex when it came to building highly interactive content for your customers.
Adobe has solved the problem of developers who use Flash offering Flex Builder, a programming environment that is much more robust. However, as a designer you might feel a little neglected because ActionScript 3.0 is much more complex than its ancestors.
Well stop feeling neglected because Adobe has created for you Flash Catalyst, a new design tool specifically designed to help designers to quickly produce interfaces without programming.
The designer moves on familiar territory creating content in Photoshop or Illustrator and then import content directly in your application to add interactive content defining events, transitions and motion. When ready, the content can be published as SWF or AIR application. Alternatively it can be passed to a programmer in order to make it much more interactive.

David you're good and always updated! I came across recently in AS3 and already I feel hatred .. let's face it: we want to complicate life at all costs and sell add-ons! ... Personally regret MACROMEDIA!

Nik nice, eh ... AS3 is for people like us is the first of graphics is a little complicated, the approach is certainly abstract (like most of its concepts) and we are in front of a programming language ...
anyway must understand how to knock down some walls and is also more sempice and orderly!
Eventually opened up new avenues and methods of work ... who is the programming is an advantage and retrieves a long way here ... theres to choose whether to hit or give up!
If I recommend ordering the book printed in Italian "answers ActionScript 3.0 for Flash professionals, belonging to the first part is well done. Having a printed manual that will help you browse through a lot, also does not necessarily have to stay in front of the monitor ... But speaking of Catalyst Flash which is the opposite, or am I wrong? Bah best as3!
